Chase Hooper took his latest training camp quite seriously as he spent some time working with two of the most dangerous fighters in their various fashions the UFC has to offer you.
Hooper returns to the octagon this Saturday in a matchup with Steven Peterson in UFC 263. The featherweight bout will take part during the event’s preliminary card at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz..
“The Dream” was able to get back in the win column in his most recent look at December’s UFC 256 event when he submitted Peter Barrett in the third round, which he considers helped maintain his roster spot.
In an exclusive interview with MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck, Hooper discusses what he’s done with his time off because the triumph over Barrett–which includes getting engaged–training with Ryan Hall, who then put him up for a visit to South Carolina to train together with Stephen Thompson, what he took away from training with”Wonderboy,” feeling like he’ll have some new hints for the struggle, predicting a thrilling fight due to Peterson’s personality, and how he plans on getting his hand raised.
