The six-show Netflix expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a short and fascinating moment for fans who wanted to watch underutilized Marvel heroes kick ass on the little display. 
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher may have varied in quality during their reign online streaming service, but most of the characters were overlooked when Netflix unilaterally cancelled all their Marvel jobs ahead of Disney coming to collect its intellectual property. 
Section of Netflix’s deal with Disney dictated that the characters seen from the Netflix MCU displays were off limits for adaptation for a period of two years after cancellation.
