Amidst an explosive emergency at the southern boundary, Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is considering restarting construction of Trump’s border .
What an interesting turn of events.
On his first day in office, Joe Biden signed an executive order stopping all construction of the wall, just one of several efforts required to bribe every Trump government success.
But, it didn’t fare him well, as hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants are creating their way to the country.
During a discussion with Immigration and Customs Enforcement staffers last week, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked about his future plans for the border wall.
With Biden’s cancellation of Trump’s border emergency declaration, which ceased the cash flow from the Pentagon,”that leaves room to make decisions” with regards to shutting”gaps in the wall,” Mayorkas stated, each BizPacReview.
According to notes taken during the semester, Mayorkas stated that Customs and Border Protection has a strategy for exactly what the agency would like done moving ahead.
“It’s not a single answer to a single question,” he explained. “There are different projects that the chief of the Border Patrol has presented and the acting commissioner of CBP presented to me.”
“The president has communicated quite clearly his decision that the emergency that triggered the devotion of DOD funds to the construction of the border wall is ended. But that leaves room to make decisions as the administration, as part of the administration, in particular areas of the wall that need renovation, particular projects that need to be finished,” he added.
Those areas include”gaps,””gates” and places”where the wall has been completed but the technology has not been implemented.”
It is better now than ever that the Biden government is grasping at straws hoping to ease the crisis they made, even though it means reinstating a Trump triumph such as the wall.
